It isn't something I would like to know, but she comes off as a sort of a red herring for the love triangle that you wanted? like the reader knows that Emma and Phil are part of it, but doesn't know who is the "mysterious third girl" and the prime suspect is Alli..?

I have indeed considered that! I'm just not very good at it, since I'm rather fond of them and also that sort of requires me to have a plot that does so xD But generally not opposed.

Do you have any plans/desires for how the magic could influence the story?

Maybe someone at the college discovered a new/interesting use of magic that could be profitable and our heroes get involved in it?

My impression of Zevi is that she cares very strongly about Adarin. She doesn't seem to care nearly as much about, as an example, school. But they're both quite blunt and they seem to lack a thought-to-speech filter in similar ways. Alli also, in older forms, swears a lot.

I believe one scene I sent you mentions Alli not being around much because she is always with her boyfriend.

Emma will at minimum eventually stand up to her parents and major in something magic-related rather than medicine. Past that, still deciding.

Does Alli from Lumos has a brother like the one from Kystle?

Nope. At the time we started Lumos I didn't have names or facecasts or anything for either a male or female version of her older sibling, and said sibling would have been at Hogwarts and been relevant and, like, presumably shown up to Have Opinions about things like the Slytherin sorting and the being friends with Silverlight. And I didn't want to be dealing with the sibling, so, sibling vanished. Jenny is the only Lumos (student) character with siblings, I believe.

Jess/Josh would probably be Gryffindor. They would actually be quite supportive and soothing about the whole Slytherin thing, despite their House- mostly because their mother was fluttery and panicked and they like to be her opposite, but with a little bit of actual sibling supportiveness- and they would be excessively curious about Miranda and pester Alli with questions a lot, usually fairly inane ones. (They're generally polite enough not to pester Miranda herself, but little sisters are fair game xD)

Emma is coru with the blessings of flexibility, contentment, and loyalty.
Jenny is elay with the blessings of joy, love, and beauty.
Alli is hunti with the blessings of determination, honesty and courage.

I'll do more of my characters later, this is amusing me. For example: Jenny's mom definitely has the blessing of fertility.
