...My characters actually all agree with that statement to varying degrees. Steel the least of them.

Faith announces that clearly all problems are her problems and if you disagree come and take them.
Re: Funny Stories Only Your Fellow Glowficcers Will Understa
My characters are collectively baffled by the idea that anyone would think they own all the world's problems, much less want to. Except maybe Vivian, but even she is side-eyeing it a lot.

Equalest points out: "Of course there are problems that do not being to me. I know a whole class of problems that belong to other people. I know this because I gave them them."

My characters (bar Harry) will be over here, with Marri's, being very confused. "That sounds like a lot of work," Ari points out. "Can I just fix, like... the problems that are near me? Some of them. Like, five problems."
Harry begins elbowing people out of the way so he can claim as many problems as possible for his own.

I will add the relevant characters to my mental list of people that go "all the problems are mine"
Adarin! <3
Harry! <3
Yvette! <3Aestrix wrote:Yvette would like her model updated with the information that she doesn't think every problem in the world is her problem, only the ones she decides are her problem. Mind, she'll decide that pretty often, especially if she personally has a way to fix it and it's wafting in front of her, but it's not automatically her problem. Being dropped in a world and told that its entire well being is her problem without her getting the chance to decide it first is likely to really tick her off.
Adarin's pretty spot on if you replace 'screamed' with something less... Screamy. He doesn't want to scream at it, he wants to sigh at it and go, 'Well I think otherwise, and I am the one that gets to say whether or not it is, not you.'

To be clear, Edie's opinion is actually more like Yvette's in some ways--she doesn't automatically decide to take responsibility for literally all of the problems, but she'll damn well take responsibility for as many of the problems as she pleases and flip off anyone who says there are any problems she can't have.
Re: Funny Stories Only Your Fellow Glowficcers Will Understa
What about the problems which only concern me (with no collateral damage to bystanders) and which I don’t want any help with? Those are pretty clearly my problems and all these characters can’t have them.

...Well, like, if your problem is something like "I'm dealing with domestic abuse," the characters won't intervene with your specific case, but they can still do things to combat general domestic abuse. And so on.
Re: Funny Stories Only Your Fellow Glowficcers Will Understa
In Faith's case: she is unmoved by your desire not to have help. There's a reason she's the antichrist.
