I wouldn’t actually be surprised if somebody could come up with a language that was mutually intelligible with both English and Japanese, at least when combined with a healthy dose of body language and facial expression. Mutual intelligibility does not actually mean it’s easy to understand.

This thread, labeled in Alicorn’s index as “Leo and Aleko (with andaisq)”; it starts with those two characters meeting, finding they are face doubles, and absconding to a Milliways room. Kiri only comes into the story after they are finished with that.

I don't remember if we actually settled on broader implications of introducing Sunnyverse magic to Quinn.
