I've started doing this. It is more interesting the further away the potentially glowficcability of a setting, since I started thinking just how differently every character would break the setting.

A logarithmic scale might work better for this purpose.

My imagination is not good enough at the task. I probably can’t even imagine a star. Although I would not be surprised if the next time a doctor asked me to rate my pain I said “pentagon”; I think the polygonal scale is better than standard. Plus, it has the advantage of being logarithmic.

Seeing a post on reddit titled "My sub looks like George Lucas." and thinking 'sub' like in Eclipse. Not glowficcer-only to think 'sub' as in BDSM, I guess, but I was really confused until I realized it meant "substitute teacher".
