I've started thinking of random things in (often misapplied) glowfic terms.

For example, I've started thinking "I have a template attractor for leaving my shoes untied and tripping" instead of "I forget to tie my shoes a lot."

I love this thread so much.

I want to hug this thread.

As a few people at the start mentioned, almost every time I experience significant pain these days, I try to move it across my mind. Just in case...

Also, watching the presidential race and being annoyed at how every one of these candidates is just so inferior to a Bell. Even the one I favor most, I have some problems with a few of eir positions and some concerns about whether they'd do the right thing in various situations. Can somebody ask the local BEE to *please* import a Bell?

At prom some of my friends were singing "All I do is win win win no matter what", and all I could think of was This Is Constant Escalation.

(Other funny glowfic-related stuff happened at prom but I didn't write it down and now I don't remember AAAARGH).

Someone about their friend, "He's a bit of a joker." Me: Eyebrows raise huh I didn't get that impression.

Politics: Exists
Me: This whole system is terrible and we need to scrap our current system of government and install a Bell as our Eternal Sorcerer-Empress instead. A Miles would also be fully acceptable.

Yeaaah sorry to derail but I slightly disagree there. Democracy is, at least, a noble idea, even if it ends up looking terrible.

Democracy is good if you don't have an immortal sorceress empress Bell to fix everything and make everyone immortal.

I will point out that in earthfic settings Bells do not acquire political power. They're kind of unsuited to it unless they have substantial magical leverage.
