Daevinity Worldbuilding Info

^I was wondering something similar but less Cam specific and if a demon could conjure the material from a specific sperm donor or any guy around or even if they could make gametes that the person cant make like sperm out of a cisfemale

We did not have worldbuilding for Daevinity particularly snug before we worked it out. "Fifteen seconds" is deliberate hyperbole, and the summoner who shot Adana trying to convince her to dismiss Cam knew he was out of earshot and didn't want to kill her and thought one minute would be okay if it started elapsing immediately.

Cam can make gametes with magic but will not normally ejaculate them.

Why don't evil daeva ever take "your firstborn child" as payment?

Requires a lot of lead time. Although come to think of it I'd be surprised if this had never happened. It just isn't common.

Unless their firstborn happens to already be born and still a baby at the time of summoning.

I guess between historical summoner rarity and recent gag popularity, there haven't been a lot of chances for it to happen.

I think it's probably just not possible to take people back to daeva worlds, that seems like it solves this problem. You can take animals.

The “nothing containing vacuum” rule seems relatively recent (only stated in two sandboxen so far). Why’d you add that?

When a demon makes a solid object while already in an atmosphere, what happens to the air that used to be occupying the space now occupied by the object – overwritten or pushed aside or what? Can stuff-already-being-there obstruct demonic-making, if it's more solid? Could a demon create an iron bar embedded in a preexisting concrete wall that did not previously have a bar-shaped hole in it?

Pushed aside. And - sort of. The bar in the brick wall would have to be in stages to a much greater extent than the same bar in air. He'd make a little bit of iron, because concrete isn't dense enough that there isn't room for a little bit. He'd make a little more, around that. Eventually the concrete would suffer, but he can still do it. This is discussed wrt railroad spikes in Connecticut Daeva.
