Agreed with Aestrix. A pro-town thing to do would be to say in plain text "last night I investigated Alicorn and Kappa* and found them to be guilty" and then if they die we would see they were the cop and guess they were telling the truth and if we decide not to kill them and they are instead killed during the night, well either way they are dead. And if they were a mafia guy pretending to be a cop when they died we would have found it out anyway. It's really unfortunate that we killed andaisq and i wish we hadn't done it but it would have been great if andais had thrown us a bone. hopefully there are other powerroles that can help us.

Well, damn. With the way AndaisQ was defending himself, I was definitely not expecting him to be Town, much less a useful template like Charlie! I don't blame Aestrix for this. AndaisQ was acting erratically and not obviously in the best interests of the town and could probably have done more to convince us not to kill him. But it's still on all of us that Charlie is dead and we still don't have any good leads on who keeps killing people. (Other than us, I mean. But we're killing people for Truth and Justice, so it's alright.)

I just did a reread of the thread so far, and here's a list of the remaining players, ordered by approximately how suspicious I am of them (most to least): Alphabeta, michaelblume, jalapeno_dude, DanielH, Ozymandias, no.head.chicken, futurevision, PlainDealingVillain, tau, thatwasademo, Paradox, pistachi0n, Shoal, Aestrix, BlueSkySprite, kuuskytkolme, Tamien. These are gut feelings, subject to change at any time, and I don't really have any evidence to present to support them, so take them with a grain of salt and all that. Hopefully publicly stating all this is a wise decision and doesn't lead to anyone's tragic and untimely demise.

I'd like to remind people that it has been requested we all adopt avatars for this game, since good number of people still have not done that.

Also, have enough people posted their encrypted roleclaims that we should reveal them and look for discrepancies yet? Or is it still too early to publicly roleclaim, for fear of losing more valuable roles? Or did we decide to wait until someone openly roleclaimed before we did that?

Lastly, I thought there would be a widget posted with the dawn? Maybe some god will come in and provide us with one.

Yeah, I'm confused as to why he didn't tell us any information before he died, or reasonably try to defend himself. And I agree that Aestrix is not to blame.

Guys, if you're town, and you're about to die, please tell us any relevant information you have (assuming it's not more useful to the bad guys, please don't say who Chris is if you figure it out, etc). Even dead, you still win if town wins (at least that's my opinion on the subject). And if it turns out you were telling the truth, we now have verifiable information that we can use to narrow things down and kill the bad guys.

And I'm with PlainDealingVillain that futurevision not saying anything at all for quite a while is pretty suspicious -- and killing people who refuse to talk is likely good policy -- but we should give them a chance to defend themselves. So I'm going to hold off voting to kill them for now -- but I'll vote for them in 24 hours or so if they haven't shown up (unless other events transpire that makes it more likely that someone else is guilty).
