To be honest, I'm not quite sure what to say. 'I'm not one of the killers'? I'd figure out the 'why' for people wanting to lynch me, argue with their points. If you're waiting for me to panic, it can happen, but it's more unlikely in a forum setting. The thing that gets me panicky is when I have to answer correctly right then, no time to think, overwhelming me with a lot of stimulus at once. Forums are obviously not a good setting for getting me panicked, I have time to read and reply and edit my responses before anyone sees them.

I would point out the things I've done that are counterintuitive to a killer's goals. Killers want chaos to hide in. I very strongly do not want that, I want things to be organized and clear and to figure out what we're dealing with, I want everyone to talk to each other and figure each other out. I want for us to know the rules of the game we're playing so we can mercilessly twist them to our advantage. I want to usurp the killer's informational advantage. I want for innocent people to avoid being lynched, myself included. I want everyone to work together, but I don't just want to fling myself at whoever is in charge, and I don't want other people to do it, either. Our greatest enemy isn't failing to take the most efficient path, it's failing to think. Because it leaves us open to manipulation, to being turned against each other, to jumping to conclusions and causing all sorts of problems. I want us to win.

I suppose I could be faking all that, but I don't think I'm that good of an actress. I'd try to disprove arguments against me. If it's 'I was randomly chosen to be put on the spot and grilled on pain of lynching' I'd likely be very, very annoyed with the situation but understand the overall goals. If I could prove myself safe without revealing my role, I'd do that, on the basis that it's best if the killers don't know which of us have cool powers or not. If it came down to it and my choices were 'die' or 'reveal my role' I would obviously fess up, though.

But, then, this is sort of hypothetical, isn't it? I am not on the chopping block at the moment, you're just trying to make me squirm. Sorry. I could pretend to panic to try and convince you I'm on the side of good and justice, but I'd be lying. I'm not, actually, panicking. I understand why you are poking at me to make me squirm and panic. It's tempting to ignore you, but you have a pretty good reason for poking. You don't trust me, and you damn well shouldn't. I'm innocent, but you have only my word on that.

But I will say that if I were a killer, I would have completely ignored your single vote against me, because I'd be afraid of saying the wrong thing. So I've got that going for me. :P
