Re: Squee!
that was one of the most badass lines in the history of *checks* EVER!"You told me," she says, "to enjoy being stuck on the world with the god of destruction, didn't you?"
Sorry for my bad english

This is in neither an Alicorn fic nor glowfic in general, but is topical:
Effulgence gets a cameo in HPMoR (latest chapter, number 107)! At first I thought it was coincidence, but there are four separate details at least, so the Moscow Rules disagree.

The name "potion of effulgence," mixing the same ingredients in different combinations, the thirty-five Bells, the fourteen locks of bright hair might be the Sherlocks somehow (both counts off by one for unknown reasons), and Harry not wanting to do it.

Re: Squee!
Off by one from what reckoning of how many they should be? I supplied the numbers complete with ambiguities; he's gone with Bells and Sherlocks (as the only counted ingredients) who have personally appeared in threaded Effulgence. So if you're going by Roll Call, you'll count Ara, but he skipped her; I'm not sure where you're adding or dropping a Sherlock; maybe you're anticipating the one from Opportunity there too?
Re: Squee!
The ones I noticed were the name, the description (“It is made by adding the same ingredients, over and over again, in slightly different ways”), the fact that there were 35 bellflowers when there are (currently) 35 Bells in Effulgence¹, and the fact that there are 14 “locks of bright hair” in the potion and 14 Sherlocks in Effulgence².
I could have missed some, and I suppose counting differently could lead to different results for just those facts. I also rejected the mentions of purple flames as a possible reference, because those appear in Harry Potter canon³ and because there was no green.
EDIT: Added link and details to footnote 1, spoilerring the added details and some of the ones I already had.
¹ The roll call (WARNING: Spoilers) mentions 36, because it mentions one that is in a threaded world but has not yet come to exist, specifically Ara (Izzy’s clone).
² Apparently, “Sherlock” originally meant “bright lock [of hair]”. I get that there are in fact 14 Sherlocks, so I don’t know why that’s off by one.
³ Slightly differently—they blocked the way back in canon, not the way forwards

Re: Squee!
I'm plagiarizing someone on reddit, who counted 36 Bells in the Roll Call and 13 Sherlocks listed as Effulgence continuity in the wiki.
