I suppose that does extend to entering Milliways, teleporting around the multiverse, then going back to Miliways and opening the door.
If, say, Spring of Incandescence were to get a door from the Belfry (before going back with Prime), would she still by default exit into the magic? Since time was still paused, I expect so. Either way, I'm guessing she could choose to go to her native world or to Pantheon (and, given that the door goes to a magic, would choose the latter)?

Re: Supplemental worldbuilding questions
If Spring got a door she would by default go to Pantheon, but would be able to get to Tayane (in the magic).

Not as seamlessly, but I'd let people make themselves understood.

In the game from which this version of Milliways ultimately derives, Bar communicated with blind characters by manifesting Braille dots in her surface. I don't know how she'd deal with the illiterate.

Re: Supplemental worldbuilding questions
I imagine she could produce little audio recorders with a recorded voice on them if she had to. But they would have a monotone robot voice. I don't think Bar wants to have her own voice.
Re: Supplemental worldbuilding questions
Thats good to know, since the majority of my Mals are illiterate. I suppose I could get around that just by having someone there to read for her. Or just do what me and anthusiasum are doing and just ignoring the fact that the bar speaks coz neither of us wanna be Bar.

I’m going through canon for the first time and don’t remember all the answers there, but I’ll answer as best I can from a combination of glowfic and canon:
I have no clue if dæmons age, but I would expect they would. They do not need to eat, but can if they desire, appropriately for their species. I don’t know about illness in general, but they sleep when the body sleeps, (even during dreams, for some reason), so they are affected by at least some possible affects of illness.
In one of the sandboxen where Cam was summoned to Nexus, he asked why technology had spent the last several hundred years getting bigger and less portable. He was told that the larger computers were necessary for security reasons. Is this the same explanation as in Effulgence, where even ImpSec has pens?
