Does Mark really keep his personality when he turns into a Sunnyvamp? Does the Sherlocky part of him not change like a desouled Sherlock?

The Sherlocky part of Mark is already more like a desouled Sherlock than like any other kind, just from sharing headspace with a Joker. So when you take away their soul, well, nothing much changes. I'm pretty sure this will end up being a property of all Joker-blends even if the details cash out differently.

Can anyone explain the appeal of someone freezing up when you touch them to me because I really don't get it

Alli does not like that he was upset. That is the part of her that is pleased he's used to her now. But Alli is, what, sixteen in Sunday? And is getting a reaction from a cute boy when she touches him, and isn't aware of most of the context behind it. It's fairly horrifying to me because I know why Mark hates being touched, but I don't think Alli does.

(If she does, I will have to backtrack. Even clueless sixteen year old Alli has limits.)

Edit: per Kappa, allow me to rephrase "Mark hates being touched" to "Mark has very strong reactions to being touched" xD Also, from what I have double checked with Kappa, he's said he gets startled by physical contact but hasn't really gone into detail beyond that. Like, the fact that he's frozen she can extrapolate into "probably not greeeeat", but she is low on details.

I think I might have phrased my last post badly. I didn't mean it as a criticism (sorry if it came across that way), I was genuinely unsure why she felt like that and was just curious if anyone could give any insight. Her being pleased at getting a reaction from a cute boy makes sense.

I did not take it as a criticism <3 I was just already kind of in the head space of writing Alli responding to Mark's I beg your pardon face and the "oh shit I should explain this" carried over, I think :)
