So, I sorta delayed responding to this until we were at least slightly into Myth :) but the quick version: Alli is a Nemean lion, Jenny and her family are pegasi, and Emma and her family are (medallion-less) centaurs living in Avalon.
For Elcenia, Emma would be a dragon (because languages). I don't have lots of strong feelings about groups, so I might just pick whichever was closest to her usual hair color (I think that's copper?). Jenny would be from Esmaar because large families, and some flavor of religious; Alicorn suggested a religion called Kovin that hasn't appeared in story yet. Alli would probably help her mom out in their witch store. And all of them would go hang out at one of the universities, because university friends.

I suppose you could get away with other color choices? Anyway, having Emma's parents be green group that could literally make her feel guilt sounds fitting.

I agree that that sounds fitting, but I don’t think they’d actually use such powers like that. Actually magically instilling guilt seems morally different from standard human guilt-tripping.
I would avoid violet group (their magic seems different from other groups’). I’d either go with black (enhanced senses seem appropriate for her in ways that make sense in my brain but I couldn’t put into words) or blue (with more forms come more chances for propriety and keeping up appearances (we need to be at this halfling social event, and then that human one, …).
Her parents would not use guilt against her. I mean, not that they always make great choices for her, but they do generally intend to do what is best for her, and that one's hard to spin. But now I'm picturing Emma being able to feel her parents' happiness and disapproval / disappointment, and approve this picture. So I am retroactively pleased with my arbitrary hair-color-based decision. Black group was definitely my second choice though :)
I assumed that guilt-tripping was standard green-parent practice, but done gently. Hallai coudl get away with "brainwashing levels" of empathy because Ilen was used to strong empathy.
That said, Emma being able to feel the emotions herself sounds way better.

I fully support Finnah's candies/Jenny :D I have to think through Finnah/Alli a bit more. Alli in base form is almost-but-not-entirely heterosexual. With wiggle room for Zevis, because Zevi/Alli is the cutest.

Pfft xD I wouldn't say they don't have empathy. They just often have it about the wrong things.
Random realization: I have, for some reason, never had two Emmas with the same last name. I'm tempted to continue the trend and have the easiest nicknaming ever. Lumos has Mason, Sunday has Anderson, Myth will have Morgan, Kushiel will have Maynard, the Quinn sandbox was Lalindar, the Promise sandbox was Miller, Kystleverse has Milaris. HUZZAH FOR ME.
