Veron's sexuality is a bit wonky, there was a bit of self-repression on his part towards it. I'd describe him (in his younger incarnation) as bisexual and pretending to be straight. Dad-version has stopped that, and is like, "Yeah um I'm pretty sure whatever I am is 'not straight,'" but doesn't date because he's putting his kids first and kind of working his bum off and doesn't think he has time to date anyone. That part's debatable, but it's what's kept him single.

I have a screenname picked out for him, but alas, dreamwidth is being a butt. I can't get past the anti-spam thing, for reasons I can't understand.

I can't really see Rupert or Dad!Vernon dating a teenager. Some kingfishers stay in the ripper stage longer though (pattern's ripper I think?) so I could ship dad!Vernon/ripper in that case.

Shhh, don't let something like a little logic get in the way of shipping (also, I said teen! but it was more young adult)

I like the idea of dad!Vernon and ripper more because the kids could be in the picture and I would love see Zevi teasing Vernon about it ^_^
