So, one of eaxh. I think I missed Juliet going beyond sexual harassment (although I could misremember), and I thought about Sue and decided it wasn’t missable only because Sue’s a Joker.

Oh yeah, I definitely didn't miss that when reading, but for some reason that initial description did not prompt me to remember it. (I think I interpreted "new best friend" as "new in the current time frame of the peal", when said incident actually occurred several years before then )

Depending on how you define “single thing”, that might be the worst single thing to happen to a character in all of glowfic. The fact that I have to qualify that statement says sonething about the genre.

Yeah, anyway, yeah "worst single thing" is a pretty good definition like things went from bad to hopeful to forever fucked up in a spam of seconds. I am so proud of Marri, proud and horrified :)

I'd just like to note for the record that I've forgotten which Joker I was thinking of when I said you haven't seen the worst one yet. If it's the one I think I remember, then he wins the Joker contest of "longest time spent in personal hell before escaping" by a wide, wide margin, and keep in mind that Aianon was tortured by the other Endarkened for ballpark of one or two thousand years.
