Depending on how you define “single thing”, that might be the worst single thing to happen to a character in all of glowfic. The fact that I have to qualify that statement says sonething about the genre.

This seems like the right thread to ask: the How To Read Effulgence page says “people have proven able to blink and miss two of the instances of rape; we're apparently too good at euphemisms”; keeping this in mind while reading, I didn’t find any instances of blink-and-you-miss-it rape. Either I missed them even keeping this in mind or I overestimate how obvious they were. What were they?

I am going to guess that one of them was Juliet raping Minus, since I didn't realize what happened until Juliet said it outright. No idea what the other could be, though.
