Testing, Testing: Summons Kindle Edition

Post by Alicorn »

It's ostensibly available here. I haven't tested whether Bookmatch works, but if you've bought a copy of Summons from CreateSpace (...from them; presumably they have no way to track who I mail signed ones to) then you should be able to get it for free. It'll roll over with the new edition when that comes out; if a while goes by and there are no apparent disasters with Summons I'll put Silver up too but I'm probably going to wait on Empaths and Blood until their new editions are out unless there's much demand.

I have acquired the kindle edition. So far, there is a weird looking line about the Creative Commons Attribution where a bunch of words got smooshed into one, and the table of contents seems to not entirely link to the appropriate locations within the book, and also some of the line breaks in the table of contents seem to have gotten lost. Also the page breaks are in kindof weird places - "Part One", "Chapter One", "Arrival", and "R", are all on the last page of the foreword, but the rest of the word "Rhysel" is on the following page, as is the continuation of the paragraph. The story looks fine for a few pages, but after "Me and Korulen summoned you!" exclaimed the human gleefully," the line breaks stop happening where they ought. They seem to go back to normal a few pages later. That's as far as I've gotten yet.
