I mean, if the reason I could never reach this market without their help is because it's in a different universe or something and also precludes this person from contacting me to discuss their urge to sell my shit, then whatever. Lemony Snicketing it would be cute and appreciated but since I'm never going to find out and this action will not affect me in any way I don't care that much.

But if they have the option of contacting me to discuss their urge to sell my shit, and instead opt to steal it and sell it behind my back, I am gonna think that person is a bit of a dick. Hypothetically. Because in this scenario I never find out they exist.

If the person in question was another me, I'd be okay with it. If the person in question was not another me, I'd be pretty annoyed, but not enough to do anything about it given the option.

I expect most of you wouldn’t mind too much, and I know I wouldn’t (if I got around to making anything publishable), but I’d like to hear others’ thoughts.

Don't think we've missed the fact that you're posting under the name Daniel H. We're onto you, Snicket.

I think I’ve annoyed Alicorn too much with persistently questioning details which are meant to be ignored for it to be plausible that I am her. I guess that does make me a prime suspect.

Of course, we all know that the entire Internet is a lie created by Scott Alexander.

I think it would be entertaining for a No Questions Elf to interact with a Steerswoman.

Steer-who?

Also, I almost feel like playing the Steal-work-from-a-alt-person in some sort of sandbox, we have Benedict's Max, who provides Cat Moments, but we haven't seen anyone trying to use the system for pure non-evil profit.
Sorry for my bad english

Steerswomen are required to truthfully answer all questions put to them if they know the answers, and likewise it is forbidden to refuse to answer any question from a Steerswoman.

Would most elves recognize this requirement? Would most steerswomen treat the elf’s curiosity as questions?
