Re: Cosel Halos
Oh I see the jagged part. If you want I could fix it!
I accidentally made another icon while I was trying to clean my room. It's at http://kelsbraintumbler.tumblr.com/post ... -with-this
This was before I read the guidelines. If you want me to go back and fix any of the things I can, though.

Yes. In particular, the way the fire is blatantly avoiding his face in that one makes it much less usable. Cute, though! <3 You are good fires.

Okay! I fixed the first one and see about fixing the second one when I am not supposed to be doing something else.
Thanks! =)
I'm not actually sure whether the fixed version looks right, but it looks better I think.

It does look better! I think there's still sort of a thing where the fire in that corner looks like it is a solid object superimposed between him and the viewer instead of being fire that is on him, but I'm not sure what to do about that, and the lack of jagged lines is a big improvement regardless.

Thanks! I'm not sure what to do about it either. That's where in the original picture he was holding a shield. Would a halo cover a shield like that? I could maybe erase the flames in that area and replace them with flames from a ball of fire instead, so it would more clearly be a different object. If the halo wouldn't cover the shield, I could just put it back to being a shield or replace it with another similarly shaped object.

The halo wouldn't cover the shield, but he could certainly cover a shield in fire of his own accord if it occured to him to do so. XD Or it could be a fireball, yes.

Wow it's been a long time, but I suddenly felt like trying Fire again!
I made a new one and got the fire off the old one's shield. And then I noticed that the sleeve bit on the new one looked weird so I added a second version of it. I'm not sure if the flamey bits came out all right, because I've been staring at the picture for kind of a long time. Also I wasn't sure if I should try to get rid of the shirt under the fire, but that seemed like it would take a while so I wanted to see if this was okay first.

Re: Cosel Halos
I approve!
It's likely that I'll have to fuss with it somewhat in order to use it as an icon, because his face is somewhat obscured by the fire - but it's fine to have some that are like that, because his face totally is obscured by fire sometimes. XD And I like the fix of the shield one.
Here's something I came up with in the last little while:

I just happened to find one picture of fire that fit the jawline in that photo almost perfectly (well, after I tweaked it some), and there I went. But it's kind of hard to find pictures of fire that just happen to conform to the lines of existing pictures like that, so I dunno if I'll be able to get another one going to my satisfaction that way.

Re: Cosel Halos
Question, is there any progress going on the pictures?
Is there any place with setting informations besides the RP thread?
