It might not good idea, perhaps, but I am suddenly very very curious what would happen if you dropped in a Bell in place of Chell and played out the events of the first game. Or tried to. I... don't know how a Bell would respond. Maybe passive protest? Maybe something else?
I think GLaDOS would probably kill someone who refused to part in testing, and Bell's don't want to die. Unless they would under those specific circumstances.
Portal 2 Spoilers: Could one or both of Atlas and Peabody be a Joker? they can't die at all. Could the personality cores be templates?
I'm having a really hard time imagining a Bell pulling off the acrobatics required for optimal use of the portal gun, but... Well, I can't deny it would be cool. Probably need a little more context than *just* Portal, but it could maybe be done?
Yeah, I don't know that a Bell could do the Chell thing under any circumstances.
...What I could see is a Bell as a (less off-the-rails) Rattmann or (much more intelligent) Wheatley, and a Sherlock as the Chell. And an Addy as GLaDOS. That, I think, would come out interesting.

Oh right. I forgot about the clumsiness problems. That would make a Chell-Bell have a lot more trouble than I expected.
And GLaDOS doesn't want to kill her testee unless she has to, because she needs _someone_ to do testing and doesn't have a lot of options.

That's only if it's set in Portal 2's spot on the timeline, though; from what I recall, during the first game, even though Chell was the only test subject we saw, there were still others who were alive.
Not sure if this is the correct place to pose this questions, but how would Bells get along with Taylor from Worm? They seem similar in some ways but very different in others. (And now that I'm mentioning it, how would Jokers and Adarins get along with her?)

Adarin and Mr.Demon-Dragonmate from Lizard Pants get along rather well.
Sorry for my bad english

Yeah, that makes sense! Just asking because I feel like Taylor is more willing to go to farther extremes than most Bells. (Also I don't know what the thing at the end is, so thank you for not spoiling it! :D)
