Exactly what i was going to say! Are you stealing my words? Word thief!

Also compare to other Masqueraded Incandescent Pealed worlds:

Hex (at least the parts run by Iobel and Edarial) are politically unstable and adding other planes to it isn't going to help as much.

Medalion is a masqueraded world, I think the medalions are created to protect critters, suddenly revealing the existence of any magic can only result in problems for critters unless they have a seriously strong back-up, one that the Incandescent Peal can't really give reliably. On a more personal level there is the dragon going after Phix.

I wouldn't completely rule out the possibility that the Incandescent Peal can solve things with their magic without local help, but certainly it wouldn't be as efficient, and there is no obvious greater from it. Even if all they need to do is for Ice to create a massive spell and Revelation to create some futuristic atmosphere-cleaning thingamagib.

EDIT:

Also, Some of the other ways that the Peal can help, and who require unmasking:

"Branch" Spring Goddess in Gemini so she can use domain transformation magic to fix the destroyed lands.

Create portals to colonize other worlds, in theory, they could hide this under the disguise that Conduit created the portals, but again, what is the gain?

EDIT2:

For the sake of completeness, they could teach Runecasting there, but I am not sure the obvious anti-volcanic benefits that could bring.

I figured the main thing the peal could bring to Gemini would be the daeva. Revival could probably hover in the atmosphere and convert volcanic ash and sulfur compounds to oxygen and other useful things, and thus avert volcanic winter. And Cam could terraform the blasted landscape, which now has a convenient amount of nutrient-rich volcanic ash but not, say, plants.

I assumed that Revival wasn't fast enough, but in the resplendent circle with her, she offered to terraform a bit so I am probably wrong.

Other Daeva might ask for payment and would need to know that the multiverse is a thing. Some might require payments, but that might be different given the situation.

That does seem relevantly important. Does it mean that the other peal would go public if they stumbled across the Cape world?

Cape is based on Worm, right? And there are political problems with that setting?

I bet gemini there is serious plans for what would happen if transdimensional visitors showed up

I must admit, I'm curious as to how Pantheon gods would interact with Earth religions. I want to see this happen if only for that.

In Worm's backstory, superpowers spontaneously started showing up a generation or so ago. The political instability isn't really a focus, but it has happened. Come to think of it, another backstory thing is a mad scientist type building a portal to a parallel Earth. The current population could pretty much take transdimensional visitors in stride.

Does the peal plan to hand out planes to deities they like? Rae or Perinixu could have as much territory as they want with no competition, and it'd be strictly better from the worlds' perspective.

I personally (and I suspect Raezenoth might agree with me) think it would be better for mortals to be able to choose from as many different nonterrible deities as possible.

You are probably right, especially since "nonterrible" probably maps pretty well onto "gods that the good ones personally get along with."
