Again, he wonders how it's fair that a brilliant woman gets to be gorgeous, too. And his mind goes blank and the nervous apprehension and self-doubt goes away and he wonders why the hell he isn't kissing her yet.

So then he leans down and fixes that.

This is a general squee for any time a character speaks another language and it is actually written in that language, even better if I understand (some of) it immediately but it pleases me either way. This just happened in the most recent Hogwarts thread (I understood half of that Chinese sentence before I stuck it in a translator! :D), but I recall it happening other times too (Linyabel saying один in her sleep being the other solid example that comes to mind).

Canon plots are a good rough guideline for what's coming up for them :)

I'm currently on The Vor Game! =)
I haven't gotten to Cetaganda yet, but that's next in my listening order! I don't know what the canon plot is yet, so it will be a surprise! (unless I look it up or something but I don't think I will)
(I'm going in the order of the audiobooks: Warrior's Apprentice, The Vor Game, Cetaganda, ... which seem to be in internal chronological order but missing a lot of them; I'll need to go back and read the others later)
I expect something sad to happen soon though because it is a glowfic!
Also, thank you a lot for recommending the series! It's really great!
