You should ask whether "Milliways rules" are science or anti-science or what, and whether Bella can stay in Milliways indefinitely.

Re: Talk to the characters.
One of the daeva should try doing a summon, since the available data is compatible with the theory that anyone who's currently on Daeva-Earth and currently not summoned can do a summon. (After the temporary intersubplane portaling, of course.)
Re: Talk to the characters.
Also they should consider killing Max a little. If the afterlife thing works, then HUZZAH MAGIC POWERS and also indestructibility; if not then they get some valuable information at the cost of a few minutes of Ice's time.
For that matter, how would Ice-style resurrection interact with someone who is currently a daeva?

Re: Talk to the characters.
Pretty sure Alicorn said Ice's resurrection doesn't work (or perhaps does unexpected things) if the people in question already have an afterlife.
Re: Talk to the characters.
They don't know how it would interact, which is a major reason not to kill Max even a litte.Nemo Consequentiae wrote:Also they should consider killing Max a little. And they are too moral to test it with another person.Lambda wrote:They don't know how it would interact, which is a major reason not to kill Max even a litte.Nemo Consequentiae wrote:Also they should consider killing Max a little. Re: Talk to the characters.
I do think killing Max would be safe. If he has that afterlife, then they don't need to resurrect him. They just summon him or scry and portal. They only resurrect him if he's still a baseline critter, and we know it works on those. Not wanting to do it is totally understandable, though, considering how Cypress still feels about it.
Testing it on someone who's currently a daeva, though, I can't see how the result could be better than what they currently have. So, curiosity aside, I don't advocate testing that.
