Re: Shiny people
Multiple instances of a single template in a single world are possible - Aianon and Ansharil, for example. But they are harder to arrange than single instances. Callahan has not chosen to spawn any more Bells in Materia than you've seen.

Re: Shiny people
You can have more than one of a template in a single world, but in worlds you've seen so far, the maximum is two; we haven't established whether this is for metaphysical reasons making it difficult to get more or because it's tacky or what.
Re: Shiny people
What does BEE stand for? (Or mean if it doesn't stand for anything). I didn't read the Homestuck thread which I think this spawned because I am not familiar with the canon so I might have missed it.

Re: Shiny people
BEE stands for (I said it in my first post here, but only once) "Breakroom-Enabled Entity".

Re: Shiny people
If you can instantiate multiple iterations of the same template in one world, is it possible (or even sensical) to instantiate multiple templates in a single person? Would you end up with multiple personalities sharing a body, or would you end up with a weird blend?

Re: Shiny people
Ehehehehehehehe I can actually answer this, sort of!
One possible way to instantiate multiple templates in a single person is indeed to give that person multiple personalities. (I don't think a "weird blend" would *work*, template-wise.) For example, in our Vaguely Notioned templating of the Vorkosigan Saga books, I templated Mark Pierre Vorkosigan (who canonically develops multiple personalities during a heavily traumatic experience) as a Sherlock and a Joker sharing a body. XD

Huh! If the Vorkosigan Saga world ever becomes Fully Instantiated rather than just Vaguely Notioned, I shall be very interested to see how that plays out for them!

Re: Shiny people
You can sort of do a weird blend. Loki-bell is both a Bell and a Loki. But she is them in different ways - I've been referring to her as canon/Yggdrasil Loki's "circumstance alt". Her personality and face are Bellish and she has all the non-negotiable Bell attractors, but her extraction and all compatible attractors are drawn from the Loki template instead.

Re: Shiny people
Hm! So are Kerron and Yggrasil's Thor actually in some way templatually related, or is their resemblance really just entirely coincidence?

Re: Shiny people
Yeah, circumstance-alts are a thing. I was thinking of a "weird blend" as meaning fusing the attractors of two different templates, and I think you'd end up with something that was cousin to both of them but member of neither, doing that.
Kerron and Thor are not templatually (what an excellent word) related, they're just face-doubles. Face-doubles are a thing, largely because the MCU is full of great faces we've kept stealing for various uses elsewhere XDDDD
