I'm not sure if this is just Adanir having sympathy towards Mira, or if it means he lost his Vernon. Though Ravel's Adarin also lost his Vernon, so that wouldn't be cause for extreme unusualness.

With the growing size of the Incandescent peal, I'm thinking it's about time for someone to develop a more clever system of interdimensional communication than "lots and lots of mirror pairs." Cypress or Prime might be able to develop a mirror network if they put their minds to it, which might function like mirrors in the Enchanted Forest ("Mirror, mirror, on the wall, I would like to make a call"). If that doesn't work, then with Cam's conjuring and presumed-excellent voice recognition technology, they could set up a sort of mirror hub, where some mechanical/computerized device could set up any two people's mirrors facing each other.

This is a little of hopeful thinking, but considering the state of no-masquerade in Gemini, it is possible that the peal will decide to openly help with the volcanic aftermath. There is enough power around to terraform mars or another planet and the mages can use Revival to scry for Conduit.

I think this possibility is likely. Gemini's plot will probably continue for a few more threads before pealing, but hopefully the peal will get to them before volcanic winter sets in too badly.

Yeah, the problems related to that kind of disaster doesn't really sound Alicorn style of issue, at least given the Gemini characters power set.

Though, it is possible that the situation gets badly enough that the peal might need to act quietly for some reason. Like, maybe there is political chaos and the gemini guard dissolves....?

In terms of mass instability, how is "we're from another world and have magic" worse than "we're from another world and have magic that is not twin superpowers"?

I'm generally anti-masquerade, but whatever reasons there are for keeping one I don't see why they wouldn't apply as much on Gemini as on regular Earth.

The superpowers in Gemini are a recent development; it is to some degree part of the public consciousness in Gemini that weird inexplicable shit can just show up out of nowhere one day, in a way that it isn't on most standard or masqueraded Earths. At least, that's my take.
