I was quite amused by the degree to which you basically summarized an entire novel in that RP, just adding some far-more-sensible people. Actually, I'm not sure what the different in word count was - I tend to badly underestimate these threads in terms of "time to read" - but it was still funny. I imagine stuff will get Different going forward, though... even before they peal.

I am a bit confused that Rian was the starting Empress, and wondering whether Rian's original role is filled by Linyabel or by Lisbet, but other than that yes, I see what you mean so far.

I needed the first name "Lisbet" for the local Libby, so I turned Dead Empress Lisbet Degtiar into Dead Empress Rian Degtiar name-wise, without altering anything else about that character. Canon Rian's story role was split into Linya and Lisbet as necessary, with Linya also borrowing a little plot from Pel.

We skipped a lot of shit from the novel, especially in the later threads, and summarized over a bunch more. But yep, pretty much got the entire thing in. XD

Something like that - the prompts in that particular case had (have? I have no idea if the writer is still taking prompts) to take the form of a word from a particular list and a character.

That makes sense! At first I had expected that the local Libby would just be a dead Empress, but in this fashion the Belle can go off with Miles and the Libby can get promoted (or so I am predicting). Though Rian would have made a decent Renee-alt name, I'm not entirely sure that the haut have 'parents' per se, at least to a sufficient degree for Linya to have a Renee and a Charlie. Maybe Lisbet designed Linya. Maybe Lisbet is shiny. *speculates wildly*
