Original characters, not yet fleshed out to the point of having names:
Someone really into self-sufficiency seeking to use magic to further that goal
Someone very ambitious but very conflict-averse looking for win-win solutions
Artist having trouble reconciling "not letting on about important secrets" with "artistic integrity", being very big on the latter hand having chosen unfortunate subject matters
Someone whose goal in life is "having fun together with other people and helping maintain a world where people can have fun together"
Other peoples' characters I'd like to write versions of:
Lucy Pevensie: Spiritual, religious, charismatic, trusting, physical, outspoken and playful. May be a priest, warrior or activist. The Narnian instance grew up in Narnia, married, bore a child, then was sent back to Earth and returned to childhood before the child was grown.
Edmund Pevensie: Curious, careful, nerdy, diligent, serious, observant, cunning and sneaky. May be a spy or bureaucrat. Was manipulated for evil ends as a child and still feels guilty about that. The Narnian instance grew up in Narnia and married, then was sent back to Earth and returned to childhood while his wife was pregnant with their first child.
Susan Pevensie: Sensible, responsible, conscientious, extroverted, cunning, observant, proud, ruthless, compassionate, clever and with good social skills including skill at manipulation and deception. May be a spy.
Peter Pevensie: Practical, charismatic, conscientious, a lover of nature, and unhealthily concerned with living up to his father's expectations. May be a warrior.
Eustace Scrub: The Pevensies' cousin. Nerdy. Raised by obnoxiously dogmatic and self-righteous but generally progressive parents, and got over his own learned dogmaticness and self-righteousness through his friendship with the Pevensies. Now coming to realize that in a lot of ways his values and worldview are still closer to those of his parents than to the Pevensies and that that's okay.
The Sailor Senshi from Sailor Moon
Doctor Who, and possibly also the Master
The Crystal Gems from Steven Universe
Characters from Homestuck
Settings
Original settings I'd like to develop further and write stuff in:
Knots, where magic is done by tying knots and only works when in accordance with imperfectly-understood "desires" of magic which have been summarized as "magic likes complicating things and dislikes simplifying things, likes making things possible but dislikes making things easy".
Possession, an Earth with magically labyrinthine areas called Warps. People who enter Warps are subjected to unpredictable physical and mental changes and sometimes also get superpowers. A variable length of time after being Warped, a Warped person's original mind will reemerge leaving the two versions of their mind sharing a body.
Conversion, a space opera setting with lots of mind-control
Cartoon Caveman Sandbox World, where evolution and technological progress are magically accelerated and craft is magically easier.
Other peoples' settings I'd like to run:
Chronicles of Narnia
Sailor Moon
Doctor Who
The Dark Lord of Derkholm
Dungeon Keeper Ami
Homestuck
One of our Submarines by Vastderp
Herding Cats by ChildishGambino
The Magic School Bus
The Circle of Magic
Steven Universe
Other peoples' settings I'm already running
Weirdly interpreted Magic: the Gathering
