Miles is Miles and definitely not a Joker. The Joker and Sherlock native to the Nexus universe are going to be the dual personalities of an illicitly produced clone of Miles.

... I just spent like 30 minutes wondering (and trying to figure out) where the Cryoburn CD had gone from baencd.thefifthimperium.com. Apparently it was "withdrawn by author request", sadly. I guess I grabbed it at exactly the right time...
Oh well, it didn't actually have all the books anyhow (so I got hardcopies). Also, that site is a fun site for people who like SF/Fantasy books in general.
