Maybe everyone other than me reads the Discord now and this forum is dead, but just in case that's not the case: there is an in-progress Silmarillion time-travel fix-it fic (Maglor dies and wakes up in Formenos before the Darkening of the Trees) being posted on AO3 here. The author is a glowficcer and many of the usual suspects are thanked in the acknowledgements.
