I feel like The Magic Schoolbus has potential, what with having unusual magic in an unusual context compared to the existing settings.

Exalted is complicated enough by itsself being a role-playing game that I don't especially recommend it, but is interesting in that A) It has a distinctive magic system where certain people (the Exalted) can develop their initially mundane skills to superhuman levels and into a supernatural forms and B) Two types of Exalted, the Solars and Infernals, are selected for ambition to the point where a Bell wouldn't stand out from the the other hundred-and-ninety-nine in that regard.

yeah me and andaisq had a brief thread where Shara landed in Exalted and was intensely horrified by everything

The Miles template has made me promise that if I ever touch Exalted, I'm going to put one of him there and he can destroy fate and overthrow the gods.
