The Wizards’ Oath in Who likes LA anyway is a bit different from the one in Effulgence (and canon, when I tried to pick up the series). Is this one of the differences in the revised version of the book (I was surprised to not find a list of changes online)? Or is there so.e other reason for the difference?

Slightly or extremely different versions of the Oath are canon. That said, what actually happened was I found two versions in canon and didn't quite like either one, and also I am deliberately tweaking some background stuff and tried to make the Oath less potentially incompatible with future tweaks.

I feel like this is just... objectively speaking, not true. Name notwithstanding. (At least for copper!Master; I have next to no information about canon!Master, but the copper model reads much, much more like a particularly bratty sub with boundary issues.)
