You are all great and thank you for hugs <3 Have many hugs in return! I am pretty confident I was misinterpreting/overreacting/etc to the unread conversation, I do not think anyone meant at all ill and certainly don't hold it against anyone because see: great, it just left me with a strong NOPE reaction that has not been worth overcoming.

I want to say life is less crazy but it kinda isn't? Job hasn't fixed the prioritization at all and one of my reports quit and my manager's out for a week and I'm covering for him and another manager's grandmother died so I'm also covering his on call shift, my husband being sick turned into me being sick, and I am still totally lost on the InvalidAuthenticityToken errors. But I am at least in a slightly better place about it all, so baby steps.

I think the search improvement might have been in my head as a subset of "search improvements / filtering" but I will make sure it's actually written out on the To Do list somewhere :)

So the section ordering thing is wonky and I can't set Best of Luck before Behind the Veil in Lighthouse.

Edit: I managed to do it but it took clicking a bunch of arrows almost at random and the order it shows when I go "edit continuity" is not the one that's actually displayed. Also the arrows don't really correspond to the sections they're next to.

It looks like somehow the ordering has been messed up behind the scenes. For some reason the ordering was as follows:

I'm not sure why it's skipped numbers – maybe deleting board sections doesn't update the ordering? (Edit: Nope, it definitely should…) Also I'm not sure why "Dream Come True" and "Best of Luck" had the same order value. It should be fixed now (with "Best of Luck" coming before "Dream Come True", as was in the display when I loaded the board) but for what caused it I'm not entirely sure. Maybe we need to add some more logic to maintain the orders instead of just switching two as necessary?

fwiw i've never deleted a section in that continuity so it's probably not that

Forum report discontinued in favor of constellation one, see obituary or dissection or whatever here which also contains some information relevant to constellation development not just related to the report but also other things.

Suggested improvement to section reordering found in this new issue.

Thank you to DanielH for going through some issues on the GitHub and posting questions for me to answer relevant to various bits of planned development.

Yay discontinued forum report!

Quick thing for Throne's sake:
- You can now see the Daily Report button glow red if you have unread reports. They must be complete reports; it does not care if you have seen today's partial one.
- If you have never opened a Daily Report (or, in this case, the feature is new and it thinks you haven't) it'll consider you to have Not Read yesterday's and no other; you don't have to go history diving.
- Fixes the thing where sorting loses the day you're on, and changing days loses your sorting
- Memory improvement on how we load continuity names

Quick thing for my sake:
Now that the forum report is disabled, max per_page is 100 instead of 500, to help with memory.

To Do: account option to let you Not Care about the highlighting or something on those lines - I assume not everyone cares. And also probably more memory improvements, I see some low hanging fruit here and may eventually have to split out "day" from "page" and paginate properly. But for tonight: bed.

Ugh I wrote a whole long reply and then hit the back button by accident. To summarize, I had 2 points:

-Please please please add some option to make the Report button not glow, it's not how I catch up on threads and it's driving me crazy.
-I've been traveling a lot over the last few days and have been getting logged out from the Constellation much more frequently. This is confusing because I thought cookies meant that the IP address you connect from shouldn't matter.

I'm leaving work on hour ten today and had an ongoing fire last night until 2am! This is why the unglow option did not get done! Hope to do it tonight now I'm not on call, anyway.

I still have no idea why it keeps throwing authenticity errors. Are you getting logged out by refreshing normal pages or when trying to post things?

Seems to be when trying to access a page I can only get to when logged in. The two examples I remember are trying to mark a thread as unread from a specific reply and trying to go to the Favorites page. In both of those cases I had assumed I was getting the error because I had been logged out without my knowledge, but I guess it's possible that the request to get the page was itself what logged me out.

I hope the fire was not a literal one!

Jalapeno, is your logged-in theme the same greenish one as the logged-out theme? I am getting logged out whenever my browser restarts, and i can see it right away because things are no longer Starry.
