Yep, this Master is a fork from the one in the show. Missy exists in universe and we may meet her depending on how things go.

It seemed Aesthetic for 6ap annie to get coldflowered, and she was hit by a van full of magical objects, so throwing an extra magical object at her in the process seemed doable.

Fair enough. Bit weird for there to be a non-artifact magical object in the van, but I guess once it does anything weird the only sensible thing to do with it is to ship it off to the Dean, especially if it’s doing anything that most artifacts don’t.

I am catching up on "ethnic cleansing" (the thread not the concept) and am amused by the part where Kaede is able to quickly verify that Amenta has the same physics. I am reasonably confident that given the equivalent of Wikipedia in a language I spoke I could figure out the notation for calculus, get unit conversions to the few percent level (mass from the definition of a mole and Carbon-12, distance from a parsec, then time and energy from the speed of light and temperature from water), and check e.g. Maxwell's equations and the temperature of the CMB as a reasonable way to verify, but it would take me a few hours and a calculator at the very least!

She quickly verified that the equations were the same often enough that it was very unlikely there would be any actual differences, she just wanted a bit more confirmatory evidence that this was the same universe and mostly expects that most variations in cosmological constants would probably end up with vastly different universes.

I would not remember exactly all the necessary equations to check for out physics, but with the time back in Heaven it would be possible to get lists of equations and constants fundamental to general relativity and quantum mechanics, or whatever new fields are at the forefornt of physics knowledge by then.
