- Your caste is neither matrilineal nor patrilineal, but instead matches the color of your hair
- You can (at some point, probably aroud teenage years) officially say your caste matches your hair color instead of a parent
- You can, at some point, change your caste to match your non-default parent (regardless of your own hair color)
- You can change your caste to match some more distant ancestor, like a grandparent

Re: Amenta Worldbuilding Info
How common are countrie with each of the following (from “no country anywhere has ever considered this” through “most countries have some process but it is difficult to go through”, because I doubt any of them are much more common than that)? Reds excepted, obviously, for all of them.

Re: Amenta Worldbuilding Info
- Common preindustrially, much less common after, dramatically less common after population pressure started seriously mounting and immigration tightened because you don't want to leave caste balance to chance, probably one or two places still do this.
- Common in low population density, low digitization areas of which there no longer are any.
- Some places do this even in the modern day but you'd have to apply or maybe find a swap, and probably if applicable pay the difference in credit price.
- Less common than the above but otherwise similar.

What happens to Amenta without outside contact? How would their history proceed?
How long it would take them to get warp without a local Feanaro?

I think I've said before I don't have a standard no-contact timeline past the point of the pollution war.
Re: Amenta Worldbuilding Info
Must have missed it. Thanks for replying.
Re: Amenta Worldbuilding Info
About how much of the population actually believes in pollution as a real thing to care about, as opposed to acknowledging on some level that perception of pollution is the real issue and it’s just a very strong disgust reaction?
I assume most reds do not believe in pollution as a real thing, but do any?

Yes.
Yes.
Re: Amenta Worldbuilding Info
What would happen if a red or group of reds managed to get a valuable and useful resource that could not be taken from them, for example magic, AI, mutant power? And what would happen if the other castes did so first?
