Speaking of galleries: I have mine organized by mood with keyword alphabetization. I would like an option to shuffle together and arrange multiple galleries as displayed for a given character who has several. (This has to be just an option, not a default, or it'll screw up my animorphs.) Like, right now I have a "generic May" account, and I'd like her to have more than the one galleryful of icons, but if I did that they'd be in separate chunks, separately organized; instead I'd like to be able to move the icons around and create an account-specific order.

Oh, nifty. Yeah that'd be cool.

I guess technically you could make a separate gallery with the relevant icons in it, because one icon can be in multiple galleries, but iirc the keywords on a particular icon are static across all galleries it belongs to (am I remembering that right?), so sorting would still be a problem.

I would also like a click and drag sorting interface. I'm no longer usually bothering with interesting keywords and use them for sorting only in most current use cases.

Aw. I find keywords A Part Of The Glowfic Experience and also (sometimes) useful for "er what is that facial expression supposed to mean".

I like the idea of sorting independent of keywords, because starting them with stuff to cause sorting is Unaesthetic and my subtle trick to hide that no longer works.

Sorting being possible independent of keywords would be nifty too, although I actually *like* doing keyword-based sorting because I'm a freak.

I mildly wish that the "edit" form showed the preceding (and following?) posts so that I could edit with easy access to the context. Maybe it could be the edit form is just a view of replies with the one you're editing having the form fields instead of the normal text?

I think I might prefer the separate "context" thing on editing a reply, because in-line editing could be suboptimally convenient if you're editing a reply at the start of a page? (Still better than present, but with a notable flaw?)

Ooh, right. Still, it would be nice if it was displayed like regular posts and not e.g. like the context view on this here forum which is backwards and faintly weird.

It would be cool if the "join thread" button, instead of (as far as I can tell) having no function but expanding the reply box, instead added the thread to your Tags Owed. I fairly regularly find myself in the situation where a cowriter's first-posted and I'm not up for replying immediately, and then I have to keep the tab open or otherwise remember that it exists and I owe a tag, since it's not on my Tags Owed yet.

(I am guessing that this is currently nontrivial, but that if voluntary remove-from-tags-owed ever becomes a feature -- as people were hoping for MWF purposes -- it will become trivial.)

(Also it is just kind of weird that the 'join thread' button has basically no effect -- I panicked a little the first time I clicked it on someone else's thread, and spent a while trying to figure out how to undo it, and then longer worrying that it had had some effect that I wasn't noticing but that they would.)
