The Glowfic Constellation
Re: The Glowfic Constellation
In the meantime can you fake it like you would on dw, by making an ooc post from your account with the information?

..........I guess.................
Re: The Glowfic Constellation
It bugs me to an irrational degree that the button to edit the top post (which you didn't make) of a thread (which you are in) is the same (in appearance and position) as the button to edit a reply you made. (Because in the former case it doesn't actually have the same functionality; you aren't editing the post, you don't have that power, you're editing the metadata on the thread.) (It actually took me some time to find it, the first time, because I assumed it couldn't possibly be there.)
It would make more sense to me if the edit button for that function were on the stats page on the thread, given that that's where all the information you're editing is located. Possibly I am being brainweird here, and everyone else thinks this is the obvious place to put it, though. (Maybe it could be in both locations?)

I would expect it to be where it is (in addition to the stats page) but I agree it should be marked differently. I'll make an issue for it.
Re: The Glowfic Constellation
There have been some updates pushed (as of about an hour ago)! I may be missing some, and some are from earlier than this.
SHA: 171a36e92dfb7df377bb09d924e366359431c02d
Edit: I expect it is not highly usable on mobile but am not sure how to make it more so without reducing a lot of the added functionality; if people would like it removed there that can be done. (Or perhaps made toggleable?)
- Scraping dreamwidth posts is now easier! (-Marri)
- The screenname box has been fixed to hide itself when you swap to a character without a screenname in the editor (-Throne)
- The reply count in post lists now links to the post's stats page (-Throne)
- Project dependencies have been updated (-Throne)
- There is a new quicker character switcher! This appears when creating replies (not posts), below the typical info-box on the left. It displays the author account and the four most recent characters used in the post. It shows for each either the default icon (avatar for author account) or the first two letters of the name if there is no default icon. The selector name (name, template nickname, screenname) is available if you hover over it. (-Throne)

Re: The Glowfic Constellation
...the PM interface on Constellation has changed and it is confusing and I assume there is still a way to reply to messages but I can't find it anywhere

Re: The Glowfic Constellation
Took me a minute to figure out the thingies were expandable. Maybe some sort of expandability indicator? And I, like Moriwen, cannot find a reply button.
Re: The Glowfic Constellation
yes, that too -- and I keep having trouble distinguishing "thingy, click to expand" and "click to shrink the next thingy down." which results in a lot of clicking back and forth.
