It depends considerably on the forms of the daemons in question but ranges from "ha, are you kidding" through "maybe if they get carried away" to "sure why not".

In a world with Pokémon daemons, perhaps it depends somewhat on egg group.

Rereading Incandescence, and I am curious: how much would it cost a company to get Isabella to make portals and send a fiberoptic or copper cable through them? There are many financial institutions who would basically pay a monthly blank check between the right cities (Chicago, New York, London, and whatever other big trading cities there are). It would probably have make the initial money faster than the transportation industry, and for fewer portals.

It’s a good thing she didn’t take any bank investment, because (among all the other reasons) they would have jumped on that idea whether she wanted to do it or not. And she might not, consumer portals actually help people in the mean time while this would just be the next step in the low-latency arms race among financial institutions.

This didn't occur to me at the time, but would've been a good startup capital idea before they went on to corner the long-distance transit market.

Sort of occurred to me while re-reading Incandescence that meeting Viserys Targaryen would be incredibly unsettling for an Adarin, considering they're a face-match but presumably not Alts, and Viserys is crazy. It'd be a little like seeing himself with his mother's insanity.

He would find it intensely unsettling and highly upsetting and probably decide that Viserys is his responsibility just because he looks alike! His sister would probably get involved for the sake of protecting her twin's sanity, and Viserys would probably end up dead.

They'd probably be pretty good for Daenerys, though.

How would they act if they had already met a female!Adarin and thus noticed that both Targaryen are Adarin-faced?

Confused, but ultimately they'd probably end up adopting her as a little sister if she were in her pre-warlord queen phase, and... Probably still adopt her in her post-warlord queen phase, but with more, "Hey let's give you other options besides conquest okay?"
