Kaylin's Creations
Re: Kaylin's Creations
Lazarus says wishcoins can’t beat ingotry, even the higher ones; trying would be pointless.
Re: Kaylin's Creations
Possibly though you could do something of the form: (a) use wishcoins to acquire ingotry; (b) use ingotry to acquire Wishcoins 2.0, Now More Powerful Than Ingotry; (c) use Wishcoins 2.0 to beat ingotry.

I'm not sure you can bootstrap it like that. If it were possible, it would probably take the form of "recruit, possibly forcefully, an ingot with a relevant power". Which...actually makes for a decent plot hook.

Re: Kaylin's Creations
You can't wish yourself ingotry, or wish for someone to be an ingot, or wish for someone to stop being an ingot, etc.
Re: Kaylin's Creations
…you can wish for the existence of someone who will predictably be an ingot, though. Not that that's categorically more powerful than “forcibly recruit”.
Re: Kaylin's Creations
Yeah, what Unbitwise said. (And that suggested to me that there might be other similar workarounds; for instance "foresee potential ingot powers of children you might have, select the most useful one.")

Re: Kaylin's Creations
I think Unbitwise meant something like "make someone out of nowhere who is genetically a child of two very productive mints"
The WAFFLES will submit to this indignity.

Re: Kaylin's Creations
Having them be just genetically the child of those mints wouldn't help.
Re: Kaylin's Creations
How is ingotry passed on, then?
And I think people are mostly thinking of Helen
