Cell phones are a thing, right? Take one along so you can talk to Jarvis and show him stuff, without having to ferry your actual person back and forth. This is literally what phones are for, talking to people without couriers.

Cam hasn't used a phone for 150 years, can't make them so they work with any existing network, and Jarvis didn't offer one...

They've actually goofed worse than that if I have my understanding right, if she does that they lose all the memories this one has gotten since being rezzed (effectively permakilling this fork). Amariah will freak when she realizes but Aldarin will probably want to go through with it anyway.

Jarvis did not feel like waiting out the time it would take to acquire a phone or for Tony to invent something to build into the bike and then acquire network access on existing channels for that thing. The 150year technology gap is still relevant.
