Being able to see more replies onscreen at a time would be a good thing. At some point I might attempt to hack up a layout optimized for that.

Weird bug report: if I'm typing a multi-line reply, and I decide I want to delete the last line of it, and so I click at the beginning of the last line of text and drag down, it highlights the last line of text and nothing else, as I would expect; but if I then hit backspace/delete, it deletes not just the highlighted text but all of the text in the entry box.

This only happens when the line before that one is blank, because I hit enter twice to separate paragraphs of text (as I've just done in this post here). It does happen if I start selecting at the beginning of an earlier line, so long as the line before that is blank. It does not happen if I start the selection in the middle of the line. Nor does it happen if I switch to HTML entry instead of Rich Text. (Nor does it happen, say, on this forum here, nor on another online rich text editor I just tested; so I don't think it's my browser being dumb.)

I assume something is going wrong with the html for paragraph breaks, though I don't know exactly what. In any case it is disconcerting to suddenly lose the entire reply I've typed, even if an undo does fix it. Could someone figure out what's up with this? :P

Yes, please.

I've got the site on 80% zoom, if that's a useful reference point. (If it is and other people want to weigh in, the command for zooming is ctrl-plus to zoom in (make bigger) or ctrl-minus to zoom out, and ctrl-0 to reset it to the default size; the current firefox build puts your zoom percent in a little oval next to the url.)

Fixed a thing where tags were not displaying properly once set with the new dynamic loading, released a thing of Throne's to fix some weird preview issues.

@Kaylin I will ToDo the characters-from-gallery thing.

@Moriwen that looks like probably an editor issue, not me, but I'll ToDo it as well in case it's monkey patchable. Also the gallery management from icon page thing.

@various I don't mind releasing a new layout if someone makes one I guess?

Also couple general notes:
- I have a designer friend who's looking into going back to school and has offered to poke around our UX as a resume project. I asked her to start with mobile and/or the character selector, but we'll see what she comes up with.
- I am going to be more-than-usually unavailable soonish; I'm already on call this week, and hosting my mother in law an unexpected extra three days, plus then I have to do errands and pack before I leave the country on Monday for two weeks and a bunch of vacation-cross-intense-work-training. I will do my best to continue reviewing Throne's PRs and, like, will not abandon you to horrible bugs, but progress is likely to be noticeably slower for a bit. Also those damn Christmas stockings I'm needlepointing. Also those. (Ow my fingers.)

I'm interested in actually trying to do the layout I talked about, but as usual I have Too Many Projects so I dunno if it'll happen any time soon.

Bug: if I mark a whole thread I owe tags in unread it does not get greenarrowed in Tags Owed, but if I mark it unread only past a certain post it does.

I don't know that that's much of a bug, if it even is one? The green arrow and the title would link to the same point for you (though the URL will be different), so apart from holding onto "the tags owed page must have arrows for every entry", the exact same functionality should be available? The greenarrows are supposed to be there if you mark it unread only past a certain point, unless I misunderstand.

Re: layouts, I was thinking of trying to make a "layouts" multi-select box that's distinct from the "themes" thing – themes would be select-one since they alter colors, and "layouts" would modify structural parts (e.g. "no icon", "float info boxes to the right", stuff like that). Layouts vs themes seems like a good.

But the arrow semantics seem to be "purple: you've read everything and can compose a reply" vs. "green: you need to read more before you can write your reply", and an entire thread unread seems more like the latter?
