Only golems and pets have a recognizing people function. Alts don't count the way reincarnations do.

Can you servant make a basemendweler as a pet? Or as a puppet? Could you do the same with a dead body?

No, you can't pet a human even a basement dweller one and organics aren't mechanical enough to puppet.

What about demonic critters (for petting, since I imagine the puppet answer holds for most or all animals)?
