I need to write something with a Sophia as the main character in it.

Shadopolis v2.0 certainly starts more interestingly (that’s not the right word exactly but it’s the best I can come up with).

My answer: “No. I flee, then try to learn more from the outside. I might seek to stop them (probably by calling relevant authorities) once I know more.” I would also be aware that this answer hasn’t been tested and might not be correct, but it’s both what I endorse and what I actually believe about myself.

I think different characters have gotten different first questions, so you might want to specify the question there.

Sadde’s, the only one mentioned in the New Threads thread. "You are imprisoned and tortured by a friend who betrayed you. When presented with the opportunity to escape, do you flee and try to forget, or do you hunt down your former friend and take your revenge?"

My answer, I think, is "it depends on the friend, the circumstances, and what I know about their motives; but somewhere on the spectrum from 'flee, call the police' to 'hunt them down and ask them what they were thinking,' inclusive."

(It's kind of a weird question, actually, in that it doesn't seem very ... dilemma-y? Not in a bad way, in a way that makes me want to know more about why the Shadows ask that particular question.)

Yeah, my “find out more” step may be partially or entirely moved to before the chance for escape.
