I don't think I would arrange to have a Bell raised by wolves, so my brain is rejecting the question.

"Raised by wolves" probably would have psychological effects that would break the Bell Template, also children that are prevented from acquiring language (from simple isolation) will completely lose the ability to learn it on a certain point.

Yeah, a feral child Bell doesn't really fit. I am curious about Bells who speak (or sign) languages which lack writing systems, and would also be super interested in seeing Bells whose languages have odd writing systems or who just personally have odd note-taking systems, like knotted cord or woven beads or ceramic cylinders with wavy lines in or some such (Aya was very neat for this reason).

This is a weird thought, but if there is ever a Bell who sheds her skins like a reptile, she could use temporary tattoos for day-to-day notes and permanent tattoos for important notes and shed her skins when she got too full of tattoos and keep them ordered chronologically by relying on the size of the skins. I have NO idea why a Bell would have the ability to tattoo themselves and not have the ability to use some more convenient note-taking method. Or why there would be a Bell who could shed her skin and who would not find the thought of keeping all her old skins ever around to be icky. But. The weird thought amused me.

(...Rapunzel could have had a system of braiding her hair, perhaps, if she'd had reason to suspect Gothel and needed to keep a secret diary, and didn't just paint it into abstract art like Aya).

Anyway, nonstandard notetaking Bells! Interest!

Actually, a Jungle Book bell (raised by people wolves) might be interesting. Although the main character seems more Jokerish to me.

@Tamien: I was thinking about that too. A lot of deaf kids whose parents don't learn sign language end up not learning language until they're older than usual. Especially in a more historical setting where there weren't schools for deaf anyway. but even in a modern setting I'm not sure Renee would have the stick-to-it-iveness to learn sign language all the way, she might just pick up a few words and phrases and Charlie doesn't talk much anyway and he doesn't see her that much so if he learned it, he would get rusty during the school year. Bells start belling around age 6 or so i seem to remember. If she were in a setting without schools for the deaf I think she could well reach that age without acquiring a language. she might make up home signs, but making up an alphabet is probably too big of a leap when you don't have a language.

Yeah, she'd start making a home sign system, but unless Renee were teaching her to read (which I expect a literate Renee would do) then the Bell would likely not acquire full language (including grammar, numeracy, etc) until, well, she starting interacting with either someone who knew sign or someone who was sufficiently interested in the task. I think Renee would have enough stick-to-it-iveness to learn sign language enough to teach her child, but if Renee didn't have access to a sign language then she'd probably just help the Bell develop a home sign system?

I think that Charmed was rejected as a fandom, but I am curious.

The Charmed Ones have 3 "basic" powers and each witch in a generation gets one, they are: Telekinesis, Freezing Time and Precognition.

How would you distribute this powers between the three standard Swan siblings?

Wow, what a question. I think I could probably justify any distribution of the three in a three-sibling Swan set. None of them feature the Bell power attractor... the precognition was fairly invasive, and might be ruled out for the Bell on roughly the same grounds that Slayer visions were ruled out for Juliet, but I could give her Piper or Prue's power without a qualm, and I could give the Alex or a Soph anything. I think the siblings would probably prefer a distribution of time-freezing Bell, precog Alex, and telekinetic Soph. I'd be tempted to give a telekinetic Soph Paige's version of the power for aesthetic reasons but if either of the twins got the teekay instead they'd get the Prue version.
