I tried Alphas when it was new, but it was too institutional and I didn't like the way the autistic character was written. Misfits I don't know. I haven't seen any Heroes and have a vague ugh field about it.

I never watched Alphas and Tumblr-osmosis tells me that Misfit is prone to black-sort-a-cynical comedy with cheap special effects.

Heroes never lives up to its potential and I dont recommend watching it solely for Effulgence, BUT it has good elements that could be re-used, Sylar-Steve sounds great there was another character in the tie-in comics that could work for Addy too

I think a Bell with a magical candy manufactory would be interesting, but only because I have no immediate ideas on how one could be leveraged into a benevolent dictatorship. Capitalism, maybe?

I know that video games are very unlikely, but I think The Longest Journey is suitable for Belling. (April as the Bell, and maybe Gordon Halloway as a Joker? or Crow, I guess.)
