Re: Sandbox Discussions
What do you mean by "Prime's comma error"?
Re: Sandbox Discussions
Pottervor is making me realize that I really, really like Gregors, especially when they are Sad. The Threefold Gregor has shattered me into a thousand pieces, and the one in "What good is a star that's lost its light" has yet to show herself but is clearly going to be wonderful based on that library alone, and Victor Evans has outright stolen my heart. I wholeheartedly approve of this recent increase in the number of Vorbarra threads.
(Also the background stuff over on Tumblr is causing me to have Serg feelings, which, like, no, and then the thread with Aestrix is making me have MORE Serg feelings, how dare you. Is this my price. Is my price for Sad Gregors having to acknowledge that this awful torture-person is multifaceted and three-dimensional and actually fairly likable, why is this, why can't I pretend he is a one-note mustache-twirling villain in peace.
. . . Which isn't to say I'm not enjoying every bit of it, of course.)

Re: Sandbox Discussions
I have undug holy place, the thread in which Kiro (the god Gregor) helps Shell Bell with her terrible world. I am enjoying my reread and wish to bring it to people's attention.
Here is a quote: "Firing a gun whose barrel is full of strawberries is an ill-advised action and may cause damage to the weapon. Continuing to try it after it fails once may cause damage to the weapon's user."

The WAFFLES will submit to this indignity.

Ah, that makes a lot more sense. I hope for Victor's sake he never finds out about the contents of that one post.

Re: Sandbox Discussions
Which one post? The one about his parents' sex life?
Re: Sandbox Discussions
Yes, that one
Re: Sandbox Discussions
In case anyone was wondering about the recent monster in Course of Performance, this is highly unlikely to come up in-thread:
There are a lot of Horned Serpent legends. The one associated with divination belongs to the Muscogee Creek. The astute reader might suspect that Montreal is nowhere near ancient Alabama. It must have migrated. The geographically relevant horned serpent would be the Algonquin one, which is much more malicious than just "will kill people if they insist on existing somewhere it wants to flood." So this particular one has definitely got some kind of history with Crone Mara— she'd know it from the wrong set of legends and isn't the type to admit a mistake even if she found out it was from out of town.
I definitely made up the bit where it could talk, though. Mea culpa.

I should really get caught up with Mecone, if there are divination-associated Horned Serpents from Alabama happening then any actions I take that don't result in that being more a part of my life are the wrong actions. *yawns* Too bad I have to actually get up tomorrow morning.
Eeeeeeee, Serg has a face now! With different facial expressions and everything! 50 icons worth of them, even. Very impressive for a man who only acquired a face a few hours ago.
