It’s plausible that, even if the gods on that universe exist as described and greenmagery can’t affect them, it could affect ainur.
For the Bright/Cir situation, I’m reminded of Prime’s comma error. I didn’t really understand that explanation, but having seen the thread leading up to it I knew what he was trying to communicate, and this seems similar.
