That's a good idea. There's probably some of that but it's poorly systematized and on a long delay.
Oh, he's not a verifiably-to-summoners-qualified medical demon. He just finished his course.

Re: Daevinity Worldbuilding Info
Demons have to specify, angels imagine -- is there a fairy equivalent?
Can fairies compress something? Like crumbling a tin can, etc?
Can fairies bullet-shield humans?
How many objects can they do at one time?
Just to check, which daeva would be the most effective at doing the following:
- finding a lost object (just in one room, not on a big scale, I know big scale is demon)
- someone being cold and wanting their room to be warmer
- removing a carpet stain, wet and dry if those are different

The WAFFLES will submit to this indignity.

Re: Daevinity Worldbuilding Info
Fairies... visualize? If i understand the question?
Yes.
Not passively; they'd have to catch all the individual bullets and generally reaction time would be an obstacle.
Depends on attentional capacity and what they're doing with them (picking up a bunch of stuff and holding it still is easier than making it dance).
Fairy (probably, unless it's more hidden than like "under the couch", in which case demon); angel; angel.

If you summon a daeva with a binding preventing them from leaving the circle or doing magic, and then drive a bus through the circle, what happens? Do you end up with a daeva outside the circle, a smashed bus, or somehow neither?

Re: Daevinity Worldbuilding Info
Bindings only restrict a daeva's activity, not what can happen to them. You wind up with a daeva outside the circle. If you worded the binding well they might still not be able to wander off.
Re: Daevinity Worldbuilding Info
That makes sense. I was visualizing it more like the ward on an Elcenian summoning spell, and therefore surprised when Cam said he wasn’t sure which way to bet on binding vs mind control

Re: Daevinity Worldbuilding Info
Can a demon make things using relative measurements? Like for drugging a person is "X% of this person's mass in Y sedative" a valid way of specifying?
Re: Daevinity Worldbuilding Info
What about units that they don’t know but can find, like “a Hubble-barn of solid gold”? Would they need to know that this is a unit of volume (as opposed to mass), or that it was a Hubble distance times the unit of area “barn”, or how big each of those approximately were, or what?
(A Hubble distance is huge, about 14.4 light-years. A barn is tiny, about the cross-section of a uranium nucleus. Multiplying together, a Hubble-barn is about a dozen liters, or 3½ gallons)
Both a Hubble distance and a barn are serious units of measurement in physics. Would they be create a pico-light-angle (about a yard, slightly less than a meter) of wire without having heard of Elcenia? (EDIT: ignoring that the conversion factors are inconsistent, which would make about a 3¾-centimeter or 1½ inch difference)

I'm having a hard time figuring out where the no and the yes and the no are meant to attach.
