The Glowfic Constellation
Re: The Glowfic Constellation
I don’t have it saved, no.
I’m logged in on all three domains. This happened on glowfic.com.
I could have easily hit the logout button accidentally; I sometimes hit the wrong link. Maybe it’s just a bug with showing the wrong message.

Re: The Glowfic Constellation
I do see a call to /logout from exactly five minutes before you posted here, so I'm guessing that was you?
Re: The Glowfic Constellation
Presumably. I need to figure out how to stop hitting the wrong link on my phone. The message when I logged back in didn’t make sense, though.
Re: The Glowfic Constellation
Aaaaaah I need a mobile layout I'm sorry :/ Anything in particular you're usually doing when you log out?
We've had SO MANY memory errors since we upgraded Ruby 2.0 > Ruby 2.1 (2.1 introduces generational garbage collection, which in theory makes everything faster but also uses more memory and oh man did we hammer straight into that wall). On the bright side, the fancy TuneMyGC plugin is designed for 2.1, so we're running that now to see if I can come up with better settings.

In this case I was refreshing the page. I feel like the best option is putting it in a menu where it’s hard to hit accidentally.
Usually when I hit the wrong button I’m not logging out, just hitting the wrong link because touch screens are imprecise and I’m moving more quickly than I can control.

Re: The Glowfic Constellation
Biggest quickest mobile help for me would just be increasing the size of the dinky Unread link icon.
Re: The Glowfic Constellation
Oh, yeah, I can barely hit it and I’m zoomed way in for vision.

Re: The Glowfic Constellation
Request: i'm not sure how easy it is to adjust this, but when adding an image to a post, it would be nice if the default width and height were because that way the image uses exactly as much space as it has or its maximum width, whichever's less, and looks much neater on mobile and the browser both. I've been setting this manually.
Code: Select all
style="max-width:100%;height:auto"
