I hadn’t realized how little the peal interacted with Midnight before this thread. Is Midnight even bluffing about not knowing that Tireh’s a Bell? It seems implausible that he wouldn’t realize she’s a part of the peal by now, but he’s acting like he’s negotiating with a third party intermediary.

For the Epic in Syntropy idea: he's a demon and the Lone Power is like, entropy, so that's another way that would be absolutely amazing on top of the magic language thing.
