Each and every one of those stories actually sounds completely plausible.

By the way, I’m pretty sure the reason that Florida Man is a thing is neither a random stereotype nor Florida having a high concentration of weird stories, but instead Florida having strong police transparency laws in the relevant respect, so journalists can see the stories from there more easily. Can anybody confirm or refute that?

Edit: Oops, that was addressed in story, so it's at least a common myth and probably actually true
