Looking for Pera's singer (Radiance chapter 39)

I'm surprised that no-one mentions the possibility that Bella might be Pera's singer in chapter 39 considering how she reacted to the papercut in chapter 6/7. Did I miss something that explains this?

Pera is Bella's singer; this is mentioned in text circa papercut. Bella cannot at this time be anyone's singer since she doesn't have blood any more.

I think there might also be some confusion between singer and mate, here. Pera was Bella's singer, meaning she was extra delicious to vampire sensibilities. In chapter 39, the characters are looking for Pera's mate, which is a different thing entirely that doesn't always match up with whether a human is a vampire's singer or not. In Edward's unlucky case, it did, so his mate was also his singer. The same is not true of all vampire/human mate bonds. Pera would not be Bella's mate just because she's her singer.

Bella wasn't applicable for being either singer or mate to Pera, since she was no longer human, and already had a mate in Edward.

Thanks for the clarification, I indeed thought that singers of a vampire became mates if turned.

I think there are a few interpretations of Twilight lore where that's true, but Alicorn's isn't one of them. Happy to be of service!
